No Slippery
Nylon fiber enhances the friction between the StarknightMT's Maverick X3 drive belt and sheaves, enhancing its transmission efficiency, preventing slippage, and extending the service life of the X3 drive belt and pulley, thereby providing significantly more driving power.
Strong Heat Dissipation
Tests have shown that our Maverick X3 belt's high-strength chloroprene rubber has excellent resistance to grease, heat, and aging, giving you a safe and comfortable driving or racing experience.
Durability & Dependability
Aramid string cord ensures excellent flex resistance and low elongation. The 422280652 CVT drive belt is not easy to break or shatter.
Four-Layer Design
High wear-resistant nylon fabric wraps both tooth surfaces of the StarknightMT's X3 drive belt, reducing noise and enhancing transmission efficiency.
High-strength chloroprene rubber makes up the midlayer.
The aramid string cord plus another layer of rubber will prevent rapid breakage of the X3 CVT belt.
What Are Some Tips for Extending the Lifespan of a New Drive Belt?
1. Soak it in dish soap, and then let it air dry. Washing removes loose rubber and mold release from belt manufacturing.
2. Clean the clutch sheaves with a cloth or light sandpaper.
3. A break-in period is necessary.
Run your machine in neutral at less than 3000 RPM. Vary the speed, apply some heat, and aim for a break-in period of 30–50 kilometers for the belt. Please engage in low gear, avoid exceeding four grand RPMs, and drive for a distance of 15 miles, varying slightly from low to high. After that, continue driving for another 15 or 25 kilometers to complete your break-in.
NOTE:
(1) During that time, maintain a smooth throttle, avoid lunging at low speeds, and avoid running at sustained steady throttle settings.
(2) Stop often and let the engine cool off (heat cycle). A good break-in is beneficial for the life of the vehicle, and it extends the belt lifespan as well.
4. Filters on the vents of the CVT cases are necessary for long belt life. Running with the vents blocked or restricted will make the belt run hotter—and heat is a belt killer.

FAQs
The four-layer design of the StarknightMT's X3 drive belt includes high-wear-resistant nylon fabric to reduce noise, a chloroprene rubber midlayer for strength, aramid string cords for reinforcement, and an inner rubber layer to prevent breakage, ensuring durability and efficiency.
You can tell when your belt is toast in two pretty obvious ways. The scent of burnt rubber comes first. The second is a sound that comes from below, a "thunk-ka-thunk." At that time, you know that something is wrong. However, don't just replace; please upgrade. Our StarknightMT's Maverick drive belt provides an ideal solution. It possesses strength and durability.
Yes, to replace or install the X3 drive belt, first remove the clutch cover to access the belt area. Release the belt tension using a clutch tool, slide off the old belt, and align the new one with any directional arrows, ensuring proper engine rotation. Secure the belt over the clutches, reassemble the cover, and check for proper tension. Finally, test your Maverick X3/MAX to ensure smooth operation. Detailed instruction is included.
