I love the flip function on this windshield. It gives a more aggressive stance to the Can-Am when it's left open and more importantly it lets in a burst of air when you're feeling stifled from having your windshield on. That's why these flip-function windshields are such a great choice because it's simple to get that feeling of the wind in your face without having to remove the entire windshield on those warmer days. I like the polycarbonate material and the thickness of the windshield and I think it should last a good deal of time. In Regards to its scratch resistance, I think it should hold up to standard wear and tear easily but if you're driving through branches and brambles you'll find that it isn't scratch proof but merely resistant.
