To clean your polycarbonate UTV windshield, mix a little soap with water and use a soft cloth or sponge to gently wipe off dirt and grime. Stay away from harsh cleaners or rough stuff that might scratch the surface. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft towel to prevent spots. Regular cleaning will keep your windshield clear and make it last longer.

Using windshield wipers on a UTV polycarbonate windshield isn’t recommended, as they can scratch or damage the surface. Polycarbonate is softer than glass, so wiper blades can leave marks and reduce visibility. Instead of wipers, clean the windshield with a soft cloth or sponge and a mild soap-and-water mix to avoid scratches and keep it clear. For rainy conditions, try a rain repellent to help water bead off the surface and improve visibility.

A rear windshield isn’t required, but it’s highly recommended. Installing only a front windshield can create a vacuum that pulls dust and debris into the cab from behind. Adding a rear windshield helps reduce this backdraft, keeping the interior cleaner and more comfortable—especially in dusty or dry conditions.
