Hard-coated polycarbonate is the top choice. It provides 250 times the impact resistance of glass, which is critical for high-speed RZR desert runs or heavy-duty Ranger farm work. StarknightMT uses double-sided hard-coating to ensure your windshield remains scratch-resistant and crystal clear even in abrasive environments.

For utility work, we recommend a Hard-Coated Full Windshield or a Flip-Up version. Rangers often face low-hanging branches and flying gravel on the farm; the double-sided hard coating prevents scratches, while the flip-up design allows for maximum ventilation when you’re frequently hopping in and out during a hot workday.

If you have a front windshield, a Rear Window is essential. Ranger cabs are large, and a front shield alone creates a vacuum that pulls dust from the bed into the cab. Adding a rear panel (hard or soft) breaks this vacuum, keeping your seats and dashboard clean during dusty fence-line checks.

Yes, for performance riders. A Half Windshield is ideal for the RZR because it deflects the main blast of wind and rocks over your head while maintaining maximum airflow. This prevents the cab from overheating and avoids the dust suction issues common with full windshields in open desert environments.

For Ranger owners, a Tinted Rear Window reduces glare from the sun hitting the back of your head and helps hide any tools or expensive gear stored in your cargo bed from prying eyes. It also acts as a thermal barrier, keeping the heat from the engine bay out of the cabin.

Definitely. By blocking the direct rush of wind, a Full Windshield significantly reduces cabin noise, making it easier to talk to passengers or hear your radio. When paired with a rear window, it creates a much quieter and more refined environment for long days on the job or the trail.
