Installation
Q1: Will this gun holder block my leg room or interfere with driving?
A1: Not at all. The holder is designed with a compact, space-saving profile. By mounting it to the center or side roll bars, it keeps your firearms secure while leaving plenty of legroom for both the driver and passengers. Its adjustable base allows you to fine-tune the angle to fit your specific cabin layout.
Q2: What is the difference between a floor-mounted and an overhead gun rack?
A2: Both styles offer unique benefits. A floor mount provides very quick access from the seat, which some riders prefer. However, an overhead mount like this one is excellent for maximizing cabin space and keeping your firearms high and dry—away from the mud, dirt, and water that often collect on the UTV floor.
Q3: Will it fit my UTV if I already have a windshield and roof installed?
A3: Yes. This holder mounts to the round roll and does not interfere with the mounting points of most windshields or roofs. The adjustable clamps are designed to work alongside your existing accessories, ensuring a seamless fit for your fully equipped machine.
Q4: Can it hold different types of firearms or even garden tools?
A4: Absolutely. The versatile rubber straps and thick padding are adjustable to secure various items, from hunting rifles and shotguns to long-handled tools like shovels or weed eaters. The V-grip design cradles the items firmly to prevent rattling on rough trails.
They appear to be pretty solid. I think they will work well with one exception. It is a bit challenging to get the devices tight enough that they won't rotate easily. They include several different size bushings, but it is still difficult to get it right. I had to use the 2 sided tape on one set and they still can rotate with a little effort. I was a little afraid that I might strip the screws but so far so good. I think I'll like these racks better than cases, because cases are so much more cumbersome to get in and out of, and they are not really made for different size rifles. These are much more versatile, though less secure from weather or even theft. I think "handy" is a better choice most of the time. And you can use them for tools as well. I think I'll keep them.
Great
I got these to use as ski racks on the sides of my safari basket. I strap the skis in and then flip the whole thing into the basket. When I take the skis out I just flip them out and everything is held together nicely. My only word of caution is that the large bolts that hold the brackets to the mounting clamps are not stainless steel and they do rust pretty quickly, so hitting them with some clear coat or a thin shot of paint would be a good idea.
I installed them on two different vehicles. I was able to adjust and adapt them to work perfectly. I plan to buy more for my other toys.
Easy to install and works great.
