A new belt on a RZR usually needs about 25 to 50 miles of easy riding to break in. During this time, avoid hard acceleration or carrying heavy loads so the belt sets in right and lasts longer
It is recommended that the drive belt on my Polaris RZR be inspected every 50 hours, 6 months, or 500 miles and replaced if damaged or worn.
If your RZR overheats, pull over right away and let it cool down. Check the coolant level, look for anything blocking the radiator, and make sure the cooling fan is running. If it keeps overheating, it’s best to have a mechanic take a look.
